Mine are not anywhere near as interesting as mummy2many's sites, but thought I may as well show you what I'm doing in my spare time. www.spiritualcompanionsdevon.org www.dwru.org www.st-josephs-primary.devon.sch.uk www.emmaseaman.co.uk www.tone-a-cise.co.uk well, it keeps me amused and I do get paid by a couple of these. More of a learning on the job type of thing really. When my youngest goes to school perhaps I will do more. Although I have just been asked to do an online Operations Manual for a large building project. And I have another artist friend who is wanting a site. So when I'm not doing or I am busy |

Very nice! When we had a meeting about website at work we decided that a white background was best. nteresting that you have done the same . Like the school one with the changing pictures. (Just seems really odd to me, to see a primary school where all the children and the staff are not only white, but also so predominatley blonde ). I need to learn how to set up and maintain a website. Is it really hard? (I loved learning/using Publisher, but not so good with stuff that involves programming). No midlife crisis here. I am simply going through a renaissance

great work Emma Sx Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Forget about the one's who don't. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

Thank you. I think there is a niche in the market for people that want simple sites doing who aren't going to spend much and they want a real person to speak to about requirements and colours and such like. These have all been done for people I know. It isn't too hard to do, but sometimes it is easier to pay someone like me to do a basic website than set it up themselves. Just like sometimes it is easier to get a painter in to do your house. You COULD do it yourself, but it is easier to pay someone who knows what they are doing and has their own tools. Bernice - yes, South Devon is a bit white and blonde! We have one child with black skin in the school of 128 pupils. The only thing that annoys me with the school site is that they have abdicated everything to me. They send me NOTHING. It could be good and a really useful informative tool for parents, but they won't give me the information to put on. Hey ho. They are okay and do the job they need to do. I'll get better when I have more than a few minutes a day to concentrate on it all. |

Those are good Emma, clean and tidy. Have you tried any variable width designs? I like your own one too: http://www.ruddygoodwebsites.co.uk - heh A person's a person, no matter how small. - Dr. Seuss. Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd. - Voltaire. ÞIt's me!

Thanks! Oops, I'd forgotten about my own. Bit like a builder. His own house is always the worst state. Must try and sort that out... Not done a variable width. I tried one and it just had text going over itself when I changed the window size. I should have another look - thanks for reminding me. And ruddygoodwebsites was a joke suggestion by a friend. But after a while I rather liked it so bought it anyway, just to ensure no-one else took it!! |
